Essential Quranic Particles

إِنَّ (Inna) — "Indeed / Verily"

One of the most common words in the Quran. It adds emphasis.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ — Indeed, Allah is with the patient. (Quran 2:153)

قَدْ (Qad) — "Already / Certainly / May have"

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ — Certainly, the believers have succeeded. (Quran 23:1)

سَ (Sa) / سَوْفَ (Sawfa) — Future tense markers

سَيَقُولُونَ — They will say. / سَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِمْ أَجْرَهُمْ — We will give them their reward.

ثُمَّ (Thumma) — "Then"

Used to indicate sequence with a gap in time.
